PGA West offers 54 holes of championship public golf in the Palm Springs area. PGA West courses are surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains and situated in the beautiful town of La Quinta. The Greg Norman Course sits near the prehistoric ocean bed 40 feet below sea level and surrounded by the Terra Cotta Mountains. Fairways are lined with natural desert plants such as multiple colors of wildflowers and native grasses that cover 60 acres of narrow fairways. This target-styled course is challenging yet fair. There are 102 white crushed marble sand bunkers and 9 ponds coming into play throughout the course.
