PGA West offers 54 holes of championship public golf in the Palm Springs area. PGA West courses are surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains and situated in the beautiful town of La Quinta. The Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course features sunken fairways, deep sand bunkers and undulating contoured greens. It is one of the only courses in the world to feature two island greens. The course is known to be forgiving off the tees and demanding around the greens encompassing many blind tee shots along the way. Almost tied with TPC Stadium, the Tournament course is known to have one of the highest slope ratings in the city.
